Dengue Fever Cases in Japan

I’ve been listening to the Fuji Network News news to practice reading Japanese and listening (don’t understand everything but it’s getting better).  There have been a number of cases of Dengue fever confirmed and infected mosquitos found in Yoyogi Park and Shinjuku Central Park.  The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Labor (厚生労働省) is setting up an urgent counter measure plan meeting.

If you have the Rikaichan add-on for Firefox you can read the news script and get pop-ups in English.
